5K Glow Run/Walk - Oct. 4, 2013
Entering its third year, The B Foundation’s 5K Glow Run/Walk has become a community event unlike any other. Following the “A Day to Believe” football game, a crowd of over 300 runners gathers at Rudness Field and begins a 5K trek to Candlestone Golf and Resort. From infants to the elderly, all participants make their way through the community, smiling, laughing, and running for those who have been impacted by cancer. The event continues to grow and the after-party at Candlestone continues to be among the highlights of the week. For more details, please see below:
All participants will have the option of receiving a dri-fit short sleeve shirt with a $20 registration fee, or a dri-fit long sleeve shirt with a $25 registration fee.
Registration can be completed online or in person at any event where The B Foundation’s pink tent is operating.
This is a destination race—runners will start at Rudness Field and end at The Candlestone/Water Tower Grille. View route here.
Start Time: 10:00 p.m. (approx.)
Wear your pink or white reflective gear, grab a flashlight and get your glow on!
This is a destination fun run and is not timed. There will be a time clock at the end of the run for you to track your own time.
Keven Krieger and the City of Belding have donated the Dial-A-Ride bus to serve as a shuttle from The Candlestone to Rudness Field during packet pick up prior to the event from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Leave your car at The Candlestone and get a free ride to the event and avoid parking issues. Last shuttle leaves at 9:30.
